WCFLS Continuing Education Grants
WCFLS offers continuing education grants to all staff at member libraries for work related inservices, workshops, conferences and courses. The grants will reimburse you or your library for ½ the total cost of an approved continuing education activity up to $100. An individual can receive only 1 grant per year. To receive a grant follow this procedure:
- Contact Claudia Backus, 262-896-8087, clbackus@wcfls.lib.wi.us for approval before attending the activity.
- When you have completed the activity send Claudia the request form and a short, (1 page maximum) summary of your experience.
- If you request that the check be made out to you individually (rather than reimbursing your library) please include your social security number. See request form.
When calculating the cost of the activity include registration fees and travel costs (mileage, meals and lodging) plus miscellaneous expenses such as materials or parking. WCFLS will reimburse you for ½ the total cost up to $100.
