Are you interested in learning how to become a more effective leader?  Do you know there are different leadership styles and that they influence your staff's behavior?  Come to this program, find out how to recognize your leadership style, that of the person to whom you report, and how that can create synergy for your library team to delivery high-quality service that your patrons expect.

Here's what you will be able to take away from the program:

• Awareness of different leadership styles
• Better understanding on how communication across the leadership styles varies and how they contribute or impede progress
• Ideas for how you can increase the clarity of your staff's role
• Ways you can remove obstacles to reaching your goals and your true potential

Alonzo Kelly is President and Founder of Kelly Leadership Group, LLC. Mr. Kelly's services are requested by individuals, institutions, and professional organizations for assistance with training aimed at increasing leadership capacity, embracing change, personal accountability, diverse professional recruitment and retention, development strategies, and other leadership-related topics.  His background includes not-for-profit as well as for-profit experience.  He is the architect behind the first Teen Court Juvenile Correction Program for the state of Wiscosin, has human resources experience in the healthcare field as well as senior leadership experience in th financial arena, having previously served as a senior vice president.

This program is sponsored by the public library systems in Southeastern Wisconsin:  Eastern Shores Library System, Kenosha County Library System, Lakeshores Library System, Mid-Wisconsin Federated Library System, Milwaukee County Federated Library System, Waukesha County Federated Library System, and also UW-Milwaukee SOIS.
