


Each year, nominations are submitted by students in 4th through 6th grade. The final list of 15 titles is chosen by a committee of public and school librarians. The committee strives to balance the list with books that are well written, appropriate for students of varying ages and reading abilities and, most importantly, loved by kids.The following titles have been nominated for the 2013 Award:
